I decided to remodel the family bathroom

I decided to remodel the family bathroom. It didn't look terrible by any means, but the aqua blue paint on the walls definitely looked outdated, not to mention the old brass knobs on the sink.

First, we had to venture through the most difficult part. Agreeing on what to do. Pink paint? White handles? New bath towels? We spent many hours wandering around the towering halls of home-depot, and argued over the different tile samples like our life depended on it. Little by little we started to piece together our masterpiece. That tile? Yes THAT one. We loved it. Adored it. It was perfect. That is until we tried to install it.

Every small installation seemed to require a new feat of strength and determination to mount. The paint somehow mysteriously splattered on the ceiling, the new knobs for the sink wouldn't fit no matter what size we returned and bought, and just the dust from the walls seemed to fight against our process by attempting to strangle us by their tiny particles infiltrating our lungs. We were lost, and hopeless. Until. We finished. Yes we finished. It was lovely and glorious, and everything we hoped and imagined. At least that's what we told ourselves so as to avoid this treacherous adventure again any time soon. In all honesty, it did look leaps and bounds better, and we were pleased. However, this was NOT a war we wished to wage upon any room of the house again any time in the near future.
